About the retreat
Frequently asked questions
Leaders already responsible for people and outcomes, who want to lead AI transformation without losing what makes them human as a leader — senior leaders, executive teams and transformation leaders navigating real change, not students of theory. If you're setting direction for others under real pressure, this is built for you.
Nothing mandatory. What matters more is arriving with a real challenge you're currently facing — that's what the days work on. See below on the book specifically.
No. The book is the entry point to the methodology, not a gate in front of it. Reading it beforehand gives you a shared language faster, but the retreat is designed to work whether you arrive cold or fully read.
Time, mostly — the kind that's disappeared from most leaders' calendars. Days away from the inbox, in a room with other leaders facing the same forces, built around real reflection rather than back-to-back sessions: quality time, a genuine human-to-human network of peers, and space to think that most leadership development skips entirely.
Judgment under real conditions — how to read your own instincts and blind spots in real time, with peers who can see what you can't see about yourself. That's not something you absorb by reading or by prompting a model. It comes from being in the room with people who ask you the harder question.
A sharper way of reading the world, made personal to their own context; a small set of peers they trust enough to call when a real decision gets hard; and usually one or two specific moments from the week that reframe something they thought they already understood about their own leadership.
